Arvind Kumar Gupta is a hands-on architect with deep technology expertise in creating and managing large-scale cloud-native products. With over 19 years of relevant experience, he is known for building innovative products from scratch and setting up product and technology strategy from scratch. Arvind has a strong technology prowess and is known for creating massively scalable distributed systems spanning several domains including Cloud Service, B2B SAAS, and Mobile products. Arvind is currently working at Phyllo as an Engineering and Product lead, where he is building developer tools for Creator Economy Platforms. Prior to this, he worked as a Sr. Principal Engineer at Quolum, a Sequoia Surge funded company, where he architected, planned, executed, deployed, and delivered products from 0 to 1. He built a team of 12 highly expert engineers in the cloud, SaaS domain, and mentored them to take up the ownership of the product. Arvind is experienced in transforming business and technology teams to Agile from traditional Waterfall development methodologies. He has experience with Software Development Life Cycle from Idea inception, Product Design, Definition & Management, Development, Testing, Deployment, and 24x7x365 Operations. Arvind has also worked as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, where he defined, communicated, executed on the technical vision, business strategy, led, and aligned teams that delivered results. He architected, planned, executed, deployed, and delivered a couple of projects from scratch. He built a team of 10 highly expert engineers at the client and server-side, mobile domain, and mentored them to take up the ownership of the product. Arvind has a strong tech stack that includes AWS, Mobile, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, test, product designer, and infra. He is experienced in playing the Architect role with multiple startups, product/technology strategy, experience leading and working with geographically distributed teams, delivering world-class solutions in a constrained resource/budget, cross-organization collaboration, building large-scale data-intensive distributed systems, building both enterprise B2B SaaS and mobile products of scale.
